Moog have provided access to generative AI tools for use as a work aid or work assistant. Whilst useful, these tools do on occasion provide responses that are untrue (aka. hallucination). Responses from this tool shall be proof read and error corrected before use. The information contained in these AI tools is fixed in time. To ensure factual accuracy consider conducting more traditional research with reliable and identifiable sources. Text typed into the chat window is currently recorded for analysis by the team supporting Generative AI tool rollout at Moog. Please follow the IT Acceptable Use Policy.

• This version of Moog Generative AI is only available for users working from non-US locations.
• This version of Moog Generative AI is hosted on servers, controlled by Moog.
• These servers are in the Commercial Cloud and are not suitable for work with export controlled material of any type. This typically means defense and some aerospace related work.

At present the following types of intellectual property can be used with this tool:

• Moog Proprietary & Confidential
• Moog Trade Secret
• Customer Proprietary & Confidential

To ensure intellectual property from different sources is not shared or mixed in violation of legal agreements, prompt and response sessions (aka. Chats) shall be separated into 3 categories: Customer, IRAD and General. A new prompt and response session shall be started for each new program and/or customer. For example:

• You begin a chat to support Airbus A350, your questions are answered.
• You then begin a new chat to support Boeing 787, your questions are answered.
• You then begin a new chat to support a query on an Advanced Manufacturing IRAD project.
• etc.

Legislation surrounding AI is developing. Nevertheless it is clear that certain uses will be prohibited. Do not engage in any of the activities below using Moog’s Generative AI tools.

This application adheres to a 30 day data retention policy for all chat conversations. If a chat conversation has not been modified for 30 days, the conversation and all associated data for that conversation, is fully deleted from the system.
